About
Children and young people are a vital part of the life of our community today and are the emerging church of tomorrow. Recognising this we have relevant, age specific programmes for our young people from birth to leaving school and beyond.
Pre School
Steps provides an enjoyable environment for the 0 – 4’s during the morning and evening services.
Primary School
Junior Church provides age specific programming with a variety of fun and challenging activities for every primary school year group. There is also a junior church programme for 1st to 3rd form students. These all run during the morning service.
Adventure Club (Fridays 6:45-8 pm) is for primary school age children. This highly popular club has a wide range of activities which aim to make Christianity real, enjoyable and relevant.
Secondary School
Junior Youth (Fridays 7:30 – 9:30 pm) is for young people in Years 8 – 10. JY aims to help young people begin to take responsibility for their Christian experience in the midst of all the changes of early adolescence. Another equally important priority is to make friends and enjoy!
As well as Friday nights JY’ers also have the opportunity to go deeper in their faith with small groups in *seven15 which takes place every other week during the Sunday evening service.
Senior Youth (Fridays 8:15 – 10:30 pm) is for young people from Year 11 through to late teens and beyond. SY uses a multi-media approach and a diverse range of activities to challenge young people to live effective Christian lives in a post-Christian society.
Beyond Friday nights SY’ers have separate guy’s and girl’s Cells to support and pray for each other and to go deeper with a smaller group of their peers.
“helping young people reflect the teachings and priorities of Jesus in their lives and relationships”
The overall programme is led by our Youth Pastor – Paul Coles – and fully complies with Child Protection legislation.
