I am going to take you to a deeper level of Expectation and Faith.
Picture of building blocks.
Some of you will be foundational.
Some of you will be the bricks.
Some of you will be the doorways.
Some of you will be the rooftops.
Some of you will be the cornerstones.
But ALL of you together, making a strong building, body, community.
I am going to use you ‘Together’ not just individually. I am going to open doors for you as a ‘community’ – a ‘youth community.’ You are going to lead by example in other denominations and nations. You are going to bring life and hope and purpose to the streets, towns and villages where I send you.
My only condition is – Clean hands, pure hearts, seeking me and my favour. Quickness to repentance and willingness to walk my path of Holiness. I am calling you out as a ‘community of youth’ who will walk new paths.
Be prepared – I will take you at your word – don’t make promises lightly – this is not the day to be half-hearted, but this is the day where I am calling you to whole-hearted devotion, whatever the cost.
Stand up, take courage and be ready to obey.

The missing quote from Friday night…
“Welcome to the irresistible revolution, a new and ancient way of life that is so attractive, who would settle for anything else? The revolution begins inside each of us, and through little acts of love, it will take over the world. Let us begin to be Christians again. Jesus give us the courage.” - Shane Claiborne

Click the book to find it or go straight to Acts or Matthew, Mark, Luke or John.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matt 5:10
“If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.” John 15:20
“Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be prosecuted.” 2 Timothy 3:12
"We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God" Acts 14:22
So what does this mean for us…
“it’s ok to be different. Being different makes you stand out, and when you’re being different for God (because of righteousness), God stands out." Janusz McNeill

It’s Saturday morning and some of the boys from SY have given up their sleep-in and morning fry to help Sam and Naomi clean up a firey mess.
Pause for posterity…
yep, you see correctly… Mark is a hard grafter!
Boycie straining a bicep…
Sponge soot painting classes with Stu and Stevie…
Thanks to all the boys for stepping up to help out some friends in need. This is what it’s all about!

Integrity -“What challenge are you laying down to those around you simply by living your life?”
Are you living a life that causes those around you to take notice of the glory of God?
We have to mind the gap between what we say and how we live, and we need God’s help to shrink that gap every day. As we strive for more, we will see people around us brought to Jesus by watching the teachings of Jesus lived out through our lives.
Check it out for yourself…
Colossians 3:1-17, Ephesians 4:25-32, Matthew 12:34-37
Thanks to Drew for a great weekend and some powerful challenges! Let’s not forget.

“On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.” Acts 2:1-4
How is the Holy Spirit Speaking to you today? Do you hear Him? Do you want to hear Him?
